Director of Finance and Operations

Andreas is passionate about the potential of alternative proteins to transform our global food system, and is excited to contribute to the growth and impact of Synthesis Capital in this space.

Andreas has a background in finance. He previously spent six years at Equistone Partners Europe in the finance team, contributing to the firm’s financial operations across its European portfolio. Prior to Equistone, Andreas began his career at EY in South Africa, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and subsequently spent time at EY in New York.

Andreas holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance and Accountancy from the University of Cape Town. At Synthesis, he is responsible for driving the firm’s financial strategy and operations, supporting its mission to invest in the most innovative companies in the alternative protein sector.
