Amanda Schaible

Senior Associate

Driven by her deep personal interests in food and sustainability, Amanda was drawn to alternative protein once she learned of the enormous environmental impact of our food system. In her role at Synthesis, she is thrilled to support companies with huge potential to reduce emissions, free up land for wildlife, and use less water.

Before joining the Synthesis team, Amanda worked at top food tech companies across the technologies that Synthesis invests in. She helped launch new plant-based products at Oatly, worked in strategy and commercial operations at precision fermentation pioneer Perfect Day, and was the first business hire at molecular farming leader Mozza Foods.

Amanda holds a BA in Economics from Scripps College and an MBA from Stanford University.
